Document, 1757 Aug. 8 [to] Sir William Pepperell, Major General of His Majesty's forces ordering him to Springfield, [Mass.] to raise an army and provisions. Document also signed by Thos. Clarke, Depty Secry. -- Document, 1760 Jan. 22 [to] Joshua Winslow, Ralph Inman and John Rowe, authorizing them to audit the accounts of Thomas Hancock, who sent sundry supplies for use by the Massachusetts Bay Colony. Also signed by A. Oliver, Sect. On the verso of the letter is a statement verifying the audit and recommending payment to Hancock signed by Winslow, Inman, and Rowe.
